Hi! I'm Rozelle! My family and closest friends call me "Che." Not the sarcastic 'tse!' that you usually say to annoying people, but 'CHE,' which is the shorter version of my bata batuta name "Otchelle."
I was born on February 19, making me fall under the astrological sign PISCES and the WATER element, which explain my emotional and sensitive personality.
I, together with my husband, Ronnie, and our son, Rafa, am currently living as an expat in the beautiful city of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates -- a fantabulous place popularized by the movies 'Sex in the City 2' and 'Fast and Furious 7'.
Since living in the Middle East, a lot of people have mistaken me as an Indian, Nepalese, Moroccan, and Singaporean because of my facial features. But the truth is, I was born to Filipino parents, making me a 100% natural born Filipino and I'm proud to be PINOY!
I didn't come from a well off family, but I am very grateful that I was given the opportunity to study as a scholar and finish my baccalaureate from a local university where I graduated with honors.
I am a Registered Nurse by profession and worked as a college lecturer/ clinical instructor for two years -- a job I really loved and enjoyed doing, and something which I really take great pride of. Eventually, my desire for financial independence forced me to leave my wonderful career in the world of academe and led me to a more challenging life abroad as an OFW.
In 2012, I married the man of my dreams at a young age of twenty-six and I lived as a happily married woman since then. A year after, our marriage was blessed with a healthy baby boy named Rafael, who completed our family and made every moment of our lives happier.
I am currently living the kind of life I have always dreamed of since I was a kid, and that is to be a full-time wife and mom! I decided to be a stay-at-home mom because I know that more than having a successful career, serving my husband and witnessing my son's every milestones are the only things that can truly give my heart genuine happiness and fulfillment.
I am in love with a lot of things, one of which is writing. No wonder this blog of mine was born. Though I love to write, I do not claim myself as a writer nor I had any formal training with it. So to all the grammar police out there, please be kind. Thank you!
